Sarah Maskell grew up in Reading and started dancing from the age of 5 with Monica, Sarah took many exams with I.S.T.D, LAMDA and R.A.D and went on to train in London at D & B Theatre College. Sarah has taught for 20 years, and has experience in drama, singing and dancing. Sarah is a trained dancer, holding qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Aerobics, Zumba and Clubbercise. Sarah can teach anyone from age 2 to 92!

Sarah trained in London at D & B Theatre College, studying Musical Theatre. She has performed as a dancer around the world, working and choreographing for film premieres and many big events. Sarah worked as a presenter and went on tour with “Rainbow” after finishing college as well as working in pantomimes and tribute acts as a dancer. She was part of the girl group “Nishe” from 2002 to 2004, and has worked in recording studios and gigged all over the country.

Sarah comes with a wealth of experience, having served as Principal running a franchise, and as a dance, drama and singing teacher. She has taught in many schools in the area including Bradfield College, St. George’s School in Ascot, Norland Nursery in Hungerford, Blessed Hugh Farringdon Senior School and many more.

Sarah is really enjoying working with Breaking Barriers Theatre Company and runs the examinations in Lamda and Idta to a very high standard.
