Leah
Leah began her dance training in various styles at the age of 4 where she later developed onto musical theatre classes at ‘Rebel School of Theatre Arts’. Here she also learnt all three disciplines as well as becoming part of their agency and staring as a supporting actress on popular TV shows such as ‘Victoria’ and ‘Ackley Bridge’.
Realising this is something she wanted to pursue as a career, she went on to train at ‘CAPA College’. Here she gained her A-level dance and drama as well as a level 3
diploma in performing arts. Whilst training at CAPA she also got the opportunity to perform on the MOVEIT! main and showcase stage in both 2016 and 2017. Leah
has recently graduated from ‘Creative Academy’ with a BA Honours in dance, where she not only studied many dance styles but also several modules about teaching
dance to the community. Here she starred in various productions and well as dancing as an extra on ‘The Keith and Paddy Picture Show’.
Since graduating Leah has been teaching all three disciplines to various children between the ages of 2-14. She adores being part of the Breaking Barriers team and
is excited to carry on her teaching career for many years to com!
