Confidence through performing arts

Leoni

Having started her performing arts journey at the age of four, Leoni is really excited to now be teaching the Breaking Barriers students.

During her thirteen years as a student Leoni performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre, as well as at Disneyland Paris on the main stage and Disney World in Florida. She then took her love of the performing arts to college where she gained a Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts.Leoni has taken her IDTA Streetdance examinations as well as her Lamda grades coming out with top marks!
Whilst studying, Leoni also successfully auditioned for the Birmingham Stage Company’s adaptation of Gangsta Grannies which she performed in at the Hexagon in Reading. Leoni has recently graduated from Creative Academy with a BA Hons in Dance and is really looking forward to inspiring all of the students here.

My daughter has been attending dance lessons at Breaking Barriers for three years now, and she absolutely loves it. It’s been fantastic to attend her performances and see first-hand just how happy and confident she is to share what she's learned. A big thank you to Breaking Barriers and, in particular, her teacher Leah.
