School Classes
We have been providing Dancing, Singing and Drama clubs to schools for 15 years.
These clubs take place before, during and after school activities.
The children take part in an annual show and are offered extra performing opportunities such as school fetes, assemblies and Streetdance exams so these classes provide skills for life by learning new moves, working as part of a team and building up confidence within a new area which is creative, fun and aspiring.
We are very proud of our school clubs and standards that we achieve with our classes.
Our teachers are all dbs checked, have safeguarding/first aid certificates/gdpr courses and are fully trained within all three disciplines. Breaking Barriers teachers are fully insured.
We also have booking systems and full contact with the parents so the school do not have to take on any extra work, we can run the school clubs in a professional manner and this has always worked really well.
Extra-Curricular
Our schools have also used out services to work with the children through P.E lessons working alongside a ‘Theme’ for that particular term and this works very well creating and engaging the children through fitness, dance and drama.
We have worked on many varied themes over the years and this all helps to:
- Improve the students Listening Skills.
- Speak up to Increase Visibility.
- Improve Presentation / Public Speaking Skills.
- Improve the children’s Emotional Intelligence.
- Improves their Creative learning.
- Uses and works on muscle memory.
- Some students engage and show thirst for learning in this alternative learning method.
- Keeps them engaged for longer.
